20/03/2021 at 05:24The Tin Shui Wai light rail is conveniently attached to the MTR Station and provides frequent and regular rail service to the surrounding communities in the New Territories West.
Unlike the main MTR lines which make use of electronic entrances and modern stations, The LRT is much less sophisticated, with open access platforms and installed Octopus card processor machines for you to tap your card before and after rides. Just watch others and it will become clear how everything is supposed to work.

今兒個第一次來坐坐輕鐵
就是台灣人説的⋯⋯輕軌
輕鐵的最為人所知的特色是車站均為開放式
有別於設有出入閘機的各個鐵路車站
輕鐵的車站不設閘機，大部分都只有月台
乘客可自由進出
由於月台採用開放式設計
實際上乘客不購買車票或確認八達通也可以上車
不過在未持有效車票的情況下乘搭輕鐵
為了防止乘客乘搭「霸王車」（逃票）
聽說港鐵會隨機在各車站或列車車廂派出查票員
檢查乘客是否持有有效車票
